Applied Behaviour Analysis

(ABA) Therapy

What is ABA?

ABA is a evidence-based approach to building life skills, encouraging positive behaviours and creating lasting outcomes. We apply Behavioural Science to turn everyday moments into learning opportunities for your child. ABA therapy can be especially helpful for children experiencing delays in language, cognitive or adaptive skills.

Key areas of focus in ABA are reducing behaviours of concern and skill building. ABA is effective in replacing challenging behaviours like aggression with positive alternatives. ABA is also utilised to teach your child a wide range of skills including communication, self-care, academic, and essential life skills. Therapy is flexible and is adapted to meet your child's unique needs.

What skills can my child learn?

ABA can be tailored to your child’s unique needs, targeting key skills for growth:

Successful Transitions

Accepting "No"
We teach your child flexibility and managing emotions when things don't go as planned. Making changes between.
Safety Skills
We teach your child important safety skills such as learning boundaries, recognising unsafe situations and navigating the community securely.
Creating Connections
We help your child in developing skills that help your child build meaningful relationships such as turn-taking and self-advocating.
